They gave her some of the sickest beats I ever heard. Even if there is no real melody, you cannot help but respect the beats. Channeling Tina Turner. Taking Tina's funkiness, fire and sassiness, then mixing it with Hip Hop and youth is not a bad idea. Beyonce's voice is like fire on this cd.

Taking risks. In conclusion, the good certainly outweighs the bad. However, this album could have been so much better if she had taken more than three weeks to work on it. What hurts this cd is the song quality the lyrics are not that hot, although the subject is and it is the producers that saves this cd.

Rating is 3. On Beyonce's 25th birthday it looks like we are the one's getting a present. With her second solo album titled b-day, Beyonce is once again proving that she can stand strong as a solo artist. This time around the sound is more urgent then we have ever heard from the newly 25 year-old singer. Having recorded this album in just two weeks, the passion in her voice makes every song destine to be a hit.

This album will give you a new respect for Beyonce as a solo artist and leave you longing for more. I'm a big fan of Beyonce! She is a beautiful woman who knows how to sing! She's my all time favorite singer and i can't wait till she starts her tour!

Even though I have an ipod, i told myself i would still buy her cd so she can get my support! Unfortuntely, the cd was stated "new" but wasn't,but it still works! She is an sensational singer and I recommend her music to everyone! I heard 4 songs from the CD and was not impressed at all. B has grown so much but with this CD her growth is not shown, a big disappointment, just like her clothesline. I was so hyped about her clothesline but then saw that is wasn't for "real women" at all, and just a bunch of knock-offs that everyone else is doing.

This CD is very very ghetto, not like the B we all know and love. Not classy at all, doesn't show her talent. I wouldn't waste time or money on this I just pray the movie she's in does well. She produced the album by herself in 2 weeks.. She didnt tell anyone she was working on an album not even her family. I guess when you remove the "business" from "music business", all your left with is the real music. Which is what she put on this CD.
